Malika Brown-Brothers is the visionary founder of CLBE, known for her strategic mindset and forward-thinking approach. With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and consulting, she is committed to driving organizational success through strategic planning, innovation, and people-centered strategies. As a leader in transformative leadership development and business excellence training, Malika approaches each day with optimism and a focus on empowering leaders and organizations to thrive. Through CLBE, she delivers customized training programs that equip nonprofit leaders with the tools for sustainable growth.

A Vision Born from Experience
Malika’s journey to founding CLBE was shaped by her extensive experience in various roles within the nonprofit sector. For nearly a decade, she navigated the challenges of lateral titles and organizational stagnation due to resistance to change, gaining valuable insights into the barriers that hold organizations back.

As a Black woman from Bermuda, Malika also faced personal and professional challenges that fueled her determination to create a platform where leaders from all backgrounds could excel. These experiences reinforced her belief in the importance of creating environments where individuals are motivated, celebrated, and empowered to perform at their best. This led to the founding of CLBE, where she combines her deep understanding of strategic leadership with a commitment to fostering inclusive workplace cultures.

Malika holds a Master of Science in Business Management & Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. She has also completed advanced professional development programs, including the Harvard Kennedy Business School Performance Lab and certifications from Rutgers University in areas such as data-driven decision making, cultural competence, and positive behavioral support.
